About mercury at aphelion

mercury at aphelion, is a musician from portsmouth, uk. 

with multiple accreditations such as a music scholarship in secondary school and  a distinction in their btec foundation diploma in music performance, mercury has been playing since they were six years old. currently, they are doing a degree in music whilst in the beginning stages of working on an album. ​

mercury is able to play piano, guitar and bass along with vocals. they specialise in post-punk music, with inspirations such as pj harvey, the cure, bauhaus, siouxsie and the banshees and type o negative, along with their idol- david bowie.

another huge inspiration for mercury is their battle living with autism, adhd and eupd diagnoses. this is the founding bond in their relationship and connection with music since they were barely a toddler, and when creating music, is the centrepiece surrounding most of the lyrics and musical themes. they treat music as their medicine, and wish to share this magic with as many people as possible.
